24 May 2010: Planetary companion incompatible with new data (Parsons et al. 2010).
Jul 2022: Alternative orbital solution considers a brown dwarf third body in highly eccentric orbit and possibly a fourth unseen (substellar?) object too.
Jan 2024: The presence of third body appears confirmed whereas it cannot be excluded for the hypothetical fourth body in the outer regions of the QS Vir system. However current available observations are insufficient to confidently confirm or rule out the presence of such an additional body.

QS Vir is an eclipsing binary of cataclysmic variable type (P = 0.15069444 d, i = 75.5 ± 2°). Secondary star is a red dwarf (spT M3.5-M4V, mB = 0.43 ± 0 .04 MSol, rB = 0.42 ± 0.02 RSol, TB = 3100 ± 75 K). Combined luminosity at quiescent state is 0.0104 LSol (0.004 + 0.01 LSol).
