Wright et al. (2013): WISE J1118+3125 exhibits common proper motion with the quadruple star system xi Ursae Majoris with a separation of 8.5' (4,100 AUs). The brown dwarf is labeled as either “xi UMa C” (SIMBAD entry) or “xi UMa E” and the whole system has an age of at least 2 Gyrs. Spectral type T8.5 ± 0.5.
